RULE 04 / MEADHALL CHRONICLES
GRIEFING &
REPORTING
Guidelines for prohibited behavior, protecting other players and their builds, and reporting PvP, theft, raids, and other major interactions.
01
GRIEFING
Griefing is strictly prohibited. Actions intended to repeatedly disrupt, harass, or damage another player's experience without a valid roleplay reason may be treated as griefing.
- Do not kill another player's tamed animals without the owner's OOC consent.
- Do not repeatedly target another player without a valid roleplay reason.
- Do not terraform inside another player's area without a valid roleplay reason.
- Do not build within another player's render distance without a valid roleplay reason or prior agreement.
- Do not intentionally lure mobs into another player's area to damage their buildings or animals.
- Grave camping is not allowed.
- Do not use portal traps to harm other players.
- Do not destroy another player's ward.
- Do not alter signs that do not belong to you without permission.
- Spam raiding is not allowed. Respect PvP cooldowns and be mindful of repeated targeting.
02
SELF-REPORTING
Players are required to self-report major interactions involving PvP, theft, or raids. Self-reporting helps staff understand what happened and resolve issues fairly if a dispute occurs later.
- You must self-report when taking or stealing items from another player.
- You must self-report after participating in a raid.
- You must self-report after killing or downing another player in PvP.
- Self-reporting is mandatory, even if both parties believe the interaction went smoothly.
03
WHAT TO INCLUDE
After a PvP encounter, theft, or raid, create a report ticket and include as much of the following information as possible.
- What was stolen or taken.
- The reason for the attack, theft, or raid.
- How you learned where the other player or group was located.
- The location where the interaction happened.
- Screenshots when relevant.
- A recording of the interaction, if available, especially if you believe a rule may have been broken.
04
WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG
- If you believe another player broke a rule, submit a staff ticket rather than escalating the situation in-game or in public chat.
- Provide screenshots, recordings, locations, or other relevant evidence when available.
- Do not use reports as a way to continue an OOC argument or retaliate against another player.
- Allow staff to review the situation before taking further action.
